In this interactive presentation, we explore the legal, USDA certified and standard industry practices of animal agriculture in the United States, while also providing a brief introduction to animal philosophy and ethics. Students will be encouraged to think critically about all of the issues discussed and will be given an opportunity throughout the presentation to share their own viewpoints and discuss them with the class.

In this presentation, we discuss key topics, such as how food production impacts the environment and why a global transformation towards plant-based food systems is crucial for delivering on climate change mitigation targets worldwide. We will also explore various innovations in food technology that could become increasingly important as we look at the future of food for a growing global population.

In this presentation, we examine the extraordinary impact that food has on the health of our bodies and discuss ways to reduce our risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, cancers and other chronic illnesses. Students will learn how incorporating more plant-based foods can be a great way to create healthful meals, encourage consumption of fruits and vegetables, and help them meet their nutrient recommendations.

Our most requested presentation, “The Works”, is a combination of all 3 presentations: Animals, Environment, and Health. The most important key topics from each of these presentations will be discussed.
